Do you have a teen who loves to write? Are you a writer at heart? A few months ago, I learned about a Christian writers conference in South Carolina that is dedicated to igniting a passion for writing for Christ in the hearts of both adults and teens. It’s called Write 2 Ignite, and this year it will be on March 28-29 at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC.
Teens will have the chance to hear from published children’s author Jenny L. Cote, find out what the difference is between a creative calling, a career, and a job from Creativity Coach Tony Snipes, and learn about the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program from Stephanie Nelson. Plus there is pizza and great key note speakers!
The Write2Ignite! Conference for Christian Writers of Literature for Children and Young Adults is a great opportunity for both homeschooling parents and students. All instructors are professional authors, editors, publishers, agents, and college writing instructors. High school students can receive high school English credit hours, and college students pay a discounted Registration Fee. Plus, every adult who registers and brings ten students receives a free Registration Fee.
