The Eiffel Tower was officially opened to the public at the Universal Exposition in Paris on May 6, 1889. The plan for the Eiffel Tower was presented by the same person who had designed the framework of the Statue of Liberty. The Eiffel Tower was the tallest structure in the world when it was opened. Today we have a short story read aloud that helps us imagine what one young boy may have expected the Eiffel Tower to be and how he learned the true meaning of the “Way” to reach Heaven.
