On October 14, 1644, William Penn was born in London, England. He would later found the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the nation’s second state, as a safe place for Quakers and other religious minorities to settle. If you’ve ever visited Pennsylvania, one thing I imagine you’ve noticed–it has a LOT of trees! Try this trees of Pennsylvania word search and see if you can find some of the many varieties that call the state home.
