Imagine watching everything you own be washed away by floodwaters and mud. Close to one million people in India and Burma (Myanmar) don’t have to imagine it. In some of the worst flooding since Cyclone Nargis in 2008, around 300 people have been killed and thousands displaced, left without homes, belongings, crops, or churches. Disease is beginning to spread as the water stagnates and mosquitoes multiply. The people need food and water. They also need hope. Please pray for the people of South Asia struck by this flooding to find peace, hope, and healing in Jesus Christ and for the Body of Christ to respond with the physical, emotional, and spiritual help that they need.
