Animal Families Notebooking Journal

With the Animal Families Notebooking Journal, students have the opportunity to learn a little bit about animal classification and explore 50 of the many animal families scientists have to pick from. From Accipitridae and Bovidae to Ursidae and Viperidae, they’ll record what order the family is part of; some of the genera the family includes; if the animals in the family are mostly carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores; what parts of the world some members of the family are found in; and some of the common animals in the family. They’ll also have the chance to draw or paste a picture of an animal from that animal family. 53 pages total. Ages 8-13.
