Description
Art Appreciation: Animal Art Mega Bundle, Level 2 is an easy, no prep way you can share beautiful artwork with your students and help them study works of art as well as their painters and compare and contrast two works featuring the same or similar animal to see how different artists portrayed their subjects. Designed for ages 11-18, the unit includes 100 works of art by 81 different artists. Each picture study includes the painting along with a notebooking page where the student can record key information about the artist and the painting. No images are repeated between units in this bundle or other Art Appreciation titles.
A second work of art for the student to find and view is suggested. They can then compare and contrast the featured artwork and the second piece of art they find. (Note, the recommended artwork is not included in this unit. Students can find the artwork online if desired by using the exact name of the painting to reduce the chance of encountering inappropriate pieces of art. If you wish to purchase Art Appreciation: Animal Art Mega Bundle, Level 1, it also includes the recommended artwork; simply disregard the activities in Level 1 as they are for younger students.)
