Description
Learn about the life and voyages of Christopher Columbus with these 33 coloring pages with large, traceable copywork. Find out where he was born, the plans he made, the expeditions he took, and more. (Please note: the mistreatment of the indigenous people he encountered is touched on gently but not in depth because of the intended age of the students using this resource.) This is a clever way to combine history and handwriting practice. Two levels are available, Levels B and C. Ages 5-10.
A note about coloring book levels:
Level A: Coloring pages include single word or phrase copywork (traceable print)
Level B: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable print)
Level C: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable cursive)
Pictures may vary or repeat between levels. Not all books are available in all three levels; new levels will be added as available.

Great details! I loved the details maps included. We use living books and I was so surprised how well these pages blended in so well throughout our book of Columbus. We’d read several pages of the book and reinforce the information on Bonnie’s pages per day. The pictures are simple, which I love, because it welcomes my child to add his own imagining drawings.
