Copywork from the Journals of Lewis and Clark is a copywork and handwriting practice book containing excerpts from journal entries of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark dated between July and September 1805. Traceable, text to copy, and blank lines are all included. Available in print, cursive, and manuscript handwriting versions. Ages 8-13.
Also works great with A Detective’s Guide to American History: 1800 to 1900!

My kids don’t look forward to handwriting, but when I throw in pages of fun Lewis and Clark information, they are much happier. These are straightforward copywork pages. But the content is much more interesting than practicing handwriting in a workbook about a quick brown fox… And, I am covering extra history while they improve their cursive and print.
Thank you! I’m all for slipping in history wherever there’s an opportunity 🙂
