The Draw and Explore Science series is a great way to combine art and science. A short description of ten different major human body organs is given. Each is followed by an image of the organ on a grid. Next, students can do one or both of the assignments that follow. They can draw half of the organ in a grid that shows half of the picture, or they can draw the entire organ on an empty grid. Ten review questions and an answer key are also included. Organs included are the heart, lungs, stomach, pancreas, small intestine, large intestine, liver, kidneys, bladder, and brain. 26 pages total. Ages 8-13.
