Description
Pennsylvania is home to hundreds of kinds of fish, amphibians, and reptiles. With the Fish, Amphibians & Reptiles of Pennsylvania Notebooking Journal, students have a chance to explore 75 of these animals and record key information about each one, such as its average size, color, preferred environment, and characteristics or other facts. They can also draw or cut and paste a picture of the animal from a magazine or resource. A blank page is included in case a specific favorite or local animal isn’t listed.
Just a few of the animals included are the American bullfrog, blueback herring, bog turtle, common five-lined skink, creek chub, Dekay’s brownsnake, eastern fence lizard, eastern milksnake, flathead catfish, gray snapper, largemouth bass, northern pike, snapping turtle, spotted salamander, spring peeper, striped bass, timber rattlesnake, and wood frog. There are many more for a total of 38 species of fish, 8 species of frogs and toads, 2 species of lizards, 9 species of salamanders, 11 species of snakes, and 7 species of turtles. 79 pages total.
