The Guide to Themed Studies is designed to give parents and teachers a quick way to find a theme you can work into your day. While no guide short enough to be printed could ever cover every conceivable date or theme, there are more than 300 dates and events in this unit. They are organized in charts of:

You can use these lists when you are in a hurry and need to find a topic for the day or for extra fill-in work as needed. You can also look ahead to upcoming months and see if there are special anniversaries coming up, such as the 150th anniversary of a special event.
