The Leif Eriksson Coloring Book includes 14 coloring pages with large print copywork to trace that is perfect for young writers. Introduce your students to this famous Norse explorer as well as the clothing, ships, and culture of the Vikings with this 17-page coloring book. Ages 5-10.
A note about coloring book levels:
Level A: Coloring pages include single word or phrase copywork (traceable print)
Level B: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable print)
Level C: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable cursive)
Pictures may vary or repeat between levels. Not all books are available in all three levels; new levels will be added as available.
We taught our kids how to write with resources from Writebonnierose.com, including the Leif Eriksson Coloring Book. I love that it teaches history, art, and writing at the same time. It is a no-prep, just print-and-go resource!
That means so much to me, thank you!

We use living books for history, and Bonnie’s coloring pages go so well with every living book I’ve used. These pages help reinforce what we are learning about, while helping the child to write (better!). And my son hates coloring, and so I don’t force him to color. But I love how simple Bonnie’s pictures are, along with lots of extra room on the pages. So, instead, I have my son to use his imagination and add to the picture already there. As for this Eric Leif document, Bonnie did so well.
I am so happy to hear that they are helpful! And I love that he can add to the picture instead of coloring if that’s not his thing. Thank you!
