Description
Twelve coloring pages with large, traceable copywork are perfect for young writers. You’ll learn about the languages the Native Americans of the Northwest coast spoke, see where they lived, learn about some of what they ate for food, meet a boy and girl from the village, see a wooden plank house, discover some of the animals of the totem poles, and more. This is a fun way to combine history and handwriting practice. Two levels are available, Levels A and B. Ages 4-10.
A note about coloring book levels:
Level A: Coloring pages include single word or phrase copywork (traceable print)
Level B: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable print)
Level C: Coloring pages include full sentence copywork (traceable cursive)
Pictures may vary or repeat between levels. Not all books are available in all three levels; new levels will be added as available.

This is a terrific resource to use along with the other “Meet the Native Americans of the …” series from Writebonnierose.com. Many history books lump Native Americans together without detailing how different each region and tribe could be. This resource gives students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the specific culture and lifestyle of tribes in the Northwest region.
