Description
Mountain Animal Facts Color & Copy helps students discover fifteen animals that make their homes in the mountains. Each animal unit begins with a short description of the animal that can be read aloud or independently. Next, students can practice handwriting by tracing key facts about the animal or by copying the facts onto the lined paper that follows (print, cursive, and manuscript formats are included). A page is included for students to record additional information about the animal if they wish. Each animal unit concludes with a picture of the animal to color. Mountain Animal Facts Color & Copy includes the American pika, Andean condor, bear, bighorn sheep, deer, eagle, fox, hare, llama, moose, mountain lion, musk deer, raccoon, snow leopard, and yak. 109 pages total. Ages 5-10.

This works well with a biome study or with any country unit study. We pull out the pages that work well with the unit we are currently working on. I love to just print-and-go … no time-consuming research or preparation of curriculum.
