Plants of Pennsylvania Notebooking Journal

Pennsylvania is home to a vast number of types of flowers, trees, and other plants. With the Plants of Pennsylvania Notebooking Journal, students have a chance to explore 75 of these plants and record key information about each one, such as its average size, main color, characteristics, preferred environment (sunny or shady, etc.), and uses. They can also draw or cut and paste a picture of the plant from a magazine or resource. A blank page is included in case a specific favorite or local plant isn’t listed. The unit includes numerous kinds of flowers, ferns, and trees from all around the state. 79 pages total. Ages 8-13.
