Print & Cursive Connections: American Explorers & Frontiersmen

This unit is designed to help young writers see the connection between print and cursive by practicing them together while enjoying learning about American explorers and frontiersmen. In the first pages of the unit, each name is stacked so that print is immediately followed by cursive. Students then trace the names in the same pattern. Finally, students write the names following the pattern. After the eleven individual exercises, students practice ten complete sentences using the same pattern. 34 pages total. Ages 5-10.
