Description
This unit is designed to help young writers see the connection between print and cursive by practicing them together while enjoying learning about habitats and food chains. In the first pages of the unit, words are stacked so that print is immediately followed by cursive. Students then trace the words in the same pattern. Finally, students can write both words following the pattern. After the twelve individual terms, students can practice twelve complete sentences using the same pattern. 32 pages total. Ages 5-10.

This is a great way to get 2 birds with one stone. Teaching your child how to print (or do cursive) while learning fundamental science concepts. Why make your child do twice the work when it’s already combined with so many of Bonnie Rose’s resources!
