My kids really need “boring” history to be livened up with some pictures and simplified to just the main points. Even I get lost when I hear an endless series of facts about a person. Bonnie Rose makes it all seem much more fun when coloring is followed by just simple sentences to get the key information across. I definitely find her coloring books make learning history more interesting for our whole family.
