Description
United States Landmarks Card Game is a fun card game that helps kids learn about the history of famous U.S. landmarks. Thirty sets of six cards each are included, as well as six wild cards. Each set of cards shares six facts about the landmark such as where it is located, when it was built, famous events that happened there, and more. The object of the game is to get as many sets of cards as possible. The game can be played with as many or as few of the sets as you choose to create a longer or shorter game. All cards are provided in color and in black and white. An additional blank page is included for students to create their own set of cards for a landmark not covered. 186 cards (color), 186 cards (black and white), and 48 pages total. Ages 5-18.
Landmarks include the Alamo, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Capitol Building, Independence Hall, Grand Canyon, Chimney Rock, Mount Rushmore, Liberty Bell, Ford’s Theatre, Gateway Arch, Hoover Dam, Brooklyn Bridge, One World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, Lincoln Memorial, White House, Jefferson Memorial, Monticello, Space Needle, Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, Old Faithful, Pearl Harbor, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Marine Corps War Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and Crater Lake.
