Social Media: Set 1 is a ten-book set that challenges students to create social media profiles and posts for famous scientists, inventors, and explorers; ancient Greeks and Romans; people of the American Revolution, Renaissance, and Reformation; U.S. Presidents; and characters of Shakespeare. Print the full units or just the pages needed for key individuals your students are studying.
They need to use their imagination and independent research to fill out personal information about each individual as well as his or her family, friends, acquaintances, jobs, education, and interests. Then they are challenged to write ten posts the inventor could have posted and illustrate five of them as though they were shared in image or video format.
