Description
What if People of the American Revolution Were on Social Media? challenges students to create social media profiles and posts for 63 famous people from the period of the American Revolution, including individuals fighting for and against independence. They need to use their imagination and independent research to fill out personal information about each individual as well as his or her family, friends, acquaintances, jobs, education, and interests. Then they are challenged to write ten posts the person could have posted and illustrate five of them as though they were shared in image or video format. They can also draw pictures to represent friends and acquaintances. Seven pages are included for each individual. The entire unit can be printed, or you can print only the men and women students are studying. A set of blank worksheets are also included for any scientist being studied that is not included. 455 pages total.
