What if People of the Renaissance Were on Social Media? challenges students to create social media profiles and posts for 25 famous people from the time of the Renaissance. They need to use their imagination and independent research to fill out personal information about each individual as well as his or her family, friends, acquaintances, jobs, education, and interests. Then they are challenged to write ten posts the person could have posted and illustrate five of them as though they were shared in image or video format. They can also draw pictures to represent friends and acquaintances. Seven pages are included for each individual. The entire unit can be printed, or you can print only the individuals students are studying. A set of blank worksheets are also included for any individual being studied that is not included. 188 pages total. Ages 11-18.
