Timeline Worksheet April 21, 1965, Proportions in HockeyApril 21st is the birthday of famous hockey player Ed Belfour. Mr. Belfour was born in Manitoba, Canada, in 1965, and played for several different teams during his career, including the Chicago Blackhawks, the San Jose Sharks, the Dallas Stars, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Florida Panthers.

A hockey player can play for many different teams, but one thing stays the same–the rule book. There are rules specifying the size of virtually everything used in a game of hockey. Let’s take a closer look at the size of some key items such as the rink, the puck, the goal post, and more. Then we’ll put that knowledge to work with a fun worksheet all about proportions.
