We celebrate the birthday of an inspiring football coach today. Eddie Robinson was born February 13, 1919. He coached the Grambling State football team from 1941 until 1997, fought segregation, started his coaching career with no budget and no assistants, and handled everything from taping sprains to writing news reports for the newspaper. He ended his career with 408 wins, 155 losses, and 15 ties, and is remembered for always giving his best, no matter what. It’s an inspiration both Ed and Mark learn from in today’s short story, Three Out of Five.
