Timeline Worksheet July 14, 1868, Tape Measure, Units of Length Printable

Tape measures abound—from the cloth ones used in fabric crafts and sewing to the steel ones used in home construction, they are everywhere! But that wasn’t the case before July 14, 1868, the date Alvin J. Fellows patented his tape measure.

Many tape measures include both English and metric units, but what if you had to convert the units of measure by hand? Give it a try with this Units of Length Conversion worksheet.
