Learning About Science

Learning About Science is a great way to introduce students to a broad range of life science, earth science, and physical science topics. Bite-sized units break core content into small, easy-to-manage pieces that are less intimidating for students and parents alike. If you want to see only the units for one level of science (such as Level 1, Level 2, etc.), select the level from the Choose One Resource Type or Series filter below. Similarly, if you wish to filter science units by a theme such as anatomy, botany, etc., select it from the Choose One Science Theme filter below. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Learning About Science for Young Learners is set up as 180 daily lessons that can provide a full year for kindergarten/first grade. The remaining Learning About Science series (Levels 1-5) are divided into units so you can more easily mix and match topics and grade levels. Each individual unit can stand alone, but if you wish to make them a full 180 days of science, additional library books, videos, etc. are needed. Some additional resources, such as notebooks, activity packs, and more are also included below.
