The state of Illinois has a long and interesting history. Illinois attracted many farmers in the days of the pioneers moving west. Eventually, the areas grew to the point that there was an adequate population to apply for statehood. Illinois officially became the twenty-first state of the Union on December 3, 1818. We’re going to test our knowledge of Illinois state history with today’s worksheet, posted as a guest post over on Homeschool Giveaways & Freebies.
