The state of North Carolina has a long and interesting history. They held their own version of the Boston Tea Party, fought for freedom during the Revolutionary War, gave birth to several U.S. Preisdents, and on November 21, 1789, they ratified the Constitution of the United States, becoming the twelfth state to join the new nation.
