The lone Christian Cabinet member serving in Pakistan’s government is leading a call for the country to re-think its blasphemy law. The law is often invoked over the slightest—or even fabricated—offenses. And, being charged with blasphemy, regardless of the ultimate legal outcome, can ruin the lives of the accused, his family, and even his entire village. Please keep this Cabinet member in prayer. It was during the evening hours, when eleven-year-old Nadia was asleep at her home in Pakistan, that she heard the minister at a nearby church quote Jesus’ words in John 14:6. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (KJV). She knew if those words were true, her life would change. Through a friend, she discovered that Jesus was truly the only way to know God. And, her life did change. Her family beat her more than once.
