With the Timeline of the History of Astronomy Chronological Copywork, students have the chance to learn about 29 events that were part of the history of astronomy from 1543 and Nicolaus Copernicus through black holes and 2019. A list of the information at the beginning of the unit is followed by each date/event on a separate page with room to copy the information. It’s a fun way to get the big picture of what was going on in the modern history of astronomy while sharpening handwriting skills. 34 pages total. Available in print or cursive handwriting versions. Ages 8-13.
I love timelines, especially of specific achievements – such as astronomy – so that the kids can see the progress that has been made over the years (that it doesn’t all just happen magically at once!). I love that I can just print it off and let the kids learn at their own pace.
I’ve always had a soft space for space and space history. Thank you!
