Description
The Wonders of the World Card Game is a fun game that introduces kids to 50 wonders of the world* from ancient through modern history. A set of four cards is included for each of the 50 famous landmarks, each with a fact about that specific wonder of the world. For example, to collect the Hanging Gardens of Babylon set of cards, kids need to collect the cards that have facts related to that location. The object of the game is to get as many sets of cards as possible. Six wild cards are included, and blank cards are also included for adding to the game. The game can be played with as many or as few of the sets as you choose to create a longer or shorter game. All cards are provided in color and in black and white. 206 cards (color), 206 cards (black and white), and 52 pages total.
*The title “Wonder of the World” has been used many times throughout history to describe sites around the world. In this unit, “Wonders of the World” include all of those considered the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, all of those included on the list of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and numerous others that have been included on various lists of wonders, both man-made and natural. This game includes the following fifty wonders of the world:
