I have hundreds of reading, writing, and spelling resources on my site, including a full spelling curriculum for Grades 1-7, writing prompts for all ages, help for beginning readers, and much more.

Elementary Spelling Fun for Grades 1-3 is a fun, popular way to teach spelling. Instead of endlessly drilling lists of words, Elementary Spelling Fun uses word puzzles, games, and copywork drawn from literature and Scripture to help students learn how to spell their words each week. It’s easy to use and includes 36 weeks of daily activities.
Fun with Spelling for Grades 4-7 includes games, puzzles, and Charlotte Mason copywork just like Elementary Spelling Fun except for older students. It also includes vocabulary practice, synonyms and antonyms, and much more. It’s a complete, easy-to-use spelling curriculum that includes 36 weeks of daily activities.
Even when kids are too little to do much writing, they are almost never too little to tell a story! The Writing Prompts About series is a fun way you can help your 8-12-year-old writers (even the reluctant ones!) get writing. There are more than 30 topics about everything from sports to animals to food! (series starts partway down the page)
If you want to combine history and writing assignments, then Writing Prompts from History is the answer. These writing prompts challenge kids to write about various moments in daily life in historic settings. Explore Writing Prompts! (series starts on page 3)
