Alphabet Tracing Countries & Capitals

Description

Introduce your young students to the geography of the world with this Alphabet Tracing Countries & Capitals activity. Students can practice tracing each uppercase and lowercase letter numerous times on these fun and easy printable sheets. The unit is broken into two sections. In the first half of the unit, each page has a large practice letter at the top followed by a section where kids can practice tracing or writing the letter many times in a more normal size. Each page also includes a world map with a country of the world highlighted whose name begins with the letter being practiced. (For the letter X, students learn “X marks the spot” and can color the country where they live.) The second section is formatted much the same way, except instead of a world map with the country highlighted, a country map with the capital that starts with the feature letter is included. A wide range of countries is included, so for example, for the letter A, they can learn the location of Argentina and Australia and the capital cities of Abu Dhabi (U.A.E.) and Amsterdam (Netherlands). 108 pages total.
