Description
When Garrett Morgan saw a problem, he tried to solve it. With the Garrett Morgan Coloring Book, students learn how this amazing inventor changed lives with his determination and inventions such as a safer traffic signal and safety gear for firemen (which became gas masks) as well as other inventions. Your students can enjoy 30 coloring pages with large, traceable copywork and learn about who Garrett Morgan was, where he was born, his new kind of traffic signal, his safety hood and how it saved lives after an explosion beneath Lake Erie, some of his other inventions, and more. It’s an excellent way to combine history and handwriting practice and work a little of both into your day. It’s a perfect project for students to complete independently. 33 pages total.
