They can learn about when and where each author was born and died, what their background was like, what genres they wrote in, what themes were common in their work, what authors inspired them and who they inspired in return, their most famous works, and more. Authors span a wide range of time periods and styles, including children’s literature, poetry, serious novels, lighthearted adventures, and much more. Six bonus research prompts are included that are suitable for research papers. These prompts challenge your students to dig deeper and learn about changes to writing and publishing over the years, job opportunities for writers, ebooks, and more. Blank notebooking pages are also included. 83 pages total. Ages 11-18.
