Your students can have fun learning about twenty-one wonders of the world* and sharpening their fine motor skills with these wonders-of-the-world-themed worksheets and activities. Each worksheet includes a few fun facts about the wonder of the world. The facts are followed by a grid and several pictures of parts of the famous landmark. Most of the pieces given can be put together on the grid to make the featured wonder of the world, but they also include one or two extra pieces that don’t belong. Two sets of worksheets are provided so you can adjust the unit to fit your student’s needs. One set of worksheets includes an outline of the wonder of the world they can use to help them put the pieces in the right order. The other set includes completely blank grids. Forty-two worksheets (twenty-one of each style) are provided along with an answer key. 58 pages total. Ages 5-13.
*The title “Wonder of the World” has been used many times throughout history to describe sites around the world. In this unit, “Wonders of the World” include landmarks that have been included on various lists of wonders, both man-made and natural. This unit includes the following twenty-one wonders of the world: Acropolis, Alhambra, Brooklyn Bridge, Burj Khalifa, Dead Sea, Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, Hagia Sophia, Hoover Dam, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Petronas Twin Towers, Pompeii (ruins), St. Basil’s Cathedral, Statue of Liberty, Statues of Easter Island, Stonehenge, Teotihuacan, Uluru/Ayers Rock, and Victoria Falls.
