Fun With Memorization

This 79-page unit will help you teach 15 poems, rhymes, and Scripture passages to young children through repetition, printable worksheets, and hands-on activities. It is designed for kindergarten but can easily be used with children in grades K-2 with some slight modifications to some of the activities. Memorization and recitation are great tools to help children learn to follow directions and to speak clearly, as well as begin to develop important habits that will aid them with their studies as they grow older. Ages 5-7.
