Description
The title “Wonder of the World” has been used many times throughout history to describe sites around the world. This HUGE resource that includes coloring pages and copywork introduces students to fifty “Wonders of the World” including all of those considered the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, all of those included on the list of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and numerous others that have been included on various lists of wonders, both man-made and natural. There are even two wonders they can find in outer space!
Each wonder is accompanied by a map that shows students where the wonder is located, and each map page has an additional smaller map showing where the featured country is located on its continent. Additional symbols show students which of the wonders were the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and lets them know which of the landmarks are natural wonders.
As they travel through history from the ancient sites to modern ones, they’ll explore six continents and more than two dozen countries. There are 115 coloring pages with large print or cursive, traceable copywork. It’s a great way to work some history, geography, and handwriting practice into your day. You can even display the finished pages around the room as you explore the world. 118 pages total. Three levels are available: Levels A, B, and C. Ages 5-10.
