Description
What if Famous Scientists Were on Social Media? challenges students to create social media profiles and posts for 38 famous scientists from around the world and various periods in history. They need to use their imagination and independent research to fill out personal information about each scientist as well as his or her family, friends, acquaintances, jobs, education, and interests. Then they are challenged to write ten posts the scientist could have posted and illustrate five of them as though they were shared in image or video format. They can also draw pictures to represent friends and acquaintances. Seven pages are included for each scientist. The entire unit can be printed, or you can print only the scientists students are studying. A set of blank worksheets are also included for any scientist being studied that is not included. 279 pages total. Ages 8-13.
